going back

I am going to go back to Ramblings, simply because people are telling me they can’t get on this website or even find it and it just seems simplier to go back since I did write all of those…..and this website isn’t getting as much reading as it once was….

so I am going back

sick girl

Keira complained to me yesterday about having a headache around eleven thirty.
At three thirty she started getting a fever so I took it and it was 101

l gave her medicine and she got to acting better.
not perfect but better then she was.

Last night at one thirty she woke me up to go to  the bathroom and her fever was 102 I gave her medicine again and a half hour later she threw up.

her fever is again 101 now and she is sleeping but she is very lethargic and not in a very good mood to do anything.
She isn’t eating and I am forcing her to drink.

I hate when she is sick.
As I know every parent and grand parent does when they have a sick child.
She just isn’t her usual fun loving self and it pains me to see her sick.

Other then that nothing is going on.

a good nights sleep

my little grand girls slept all night long last night and that gave me a great nights sleep.
one I haven’t gotten in over a week.
It felt great to wake up and finally feel like I had a good nights sleep.

Keira stayed up with her grandpa  till eleven and Kayla and I went to bed at nine and slept all night long.

It was very nice.

Right now Keira’s dad is here and she is playing with him while Kayla is napping
“The Cat in the Hat” is on, with Mike Myers and even though Keira isn’t watching it she does think she needs it on.
For back ground noise I guess.

Anyway I hope everyone has a great Sunday and if I don’t get back  on again, everyone have a Happy Memorial Day!!

I think it is very true and while some pictures need no words at all, others need explained.
however today I was just goofing around on the internet and came up with some pretty nice pictures

little or no sleep

I have been suffering from lack of sleep for over a week now.
It is aggravating and frustrating.
I had the grand daughters last night and they were up from two thirty till five thirty.
I may have dozed a few times but I was so frustrated and am extremely tired now.

both girls got naps this afternoon, well Keira is still napping but….I should have taken one too because I am so tired now.
Darn it.

I sure hope the girls sleep better tonight so I can sleep or I may start crying.

stomach ache

I woke up this morning with a stomach ache and I still have it twelve hours later.
I feel bloated and quite uncomfortable but nothing is happening to cause this.
I mean, no gas or anything like that
(Sorry if that grosses you out)

I don’t understand this.

I wish it would go away, but alas…it still is hanging on.

Guardian angel?

I’m tired today and earlier I had a massive headache.
But the headache is gone now which is good.

I didn’t sleep well and haven’t honestly slept well in almost a week but anyway….I woke up this morning at four am, and I woke up swearing that someone pulled the covers up to under my chin and kissed me on the forehead

I woke up literally thinking someone was in the room with me.
I went back to sleep and when the alarm woke me at four forty five I thought to myself “maybe I have a guardian angel who thought I looked cold?”

anyway it wasn’t a bad way to wake up, just different.

New American Idol Kris Allen!!!!

shock shock shock, Kris Allen won American idol!!!!
I voted for him twice last night!!!!
I can’t believe he won!!!
YES!!!!
Adam Lambert was great and I really thought he would win but Kris was the underdog and I felt even though Adam was a great and is a great singer, Kris deserved it.
So happy America agreed with me!!!!!
Way to go Kris!!!!

Glaucoma

my husband went to the eye doctor today and he is on the verge of having glaucoma, which is a very serious eye condition that could lead to blindness.
he is under a doctor’s care but it does make one worry.
the eyes are nothing to take lightly.

I went to the doctor too but just have dry eyes  and not an infection like I had thought.

tattoos and grand daughters

my youngest son and his wife went to get tattoos this evening and I am watching their girls.
My oldest son is here and his daughter has been inside too with the other two girls.
so it has been pretty crazy in here.
My husband and oldest son have been outside drinking since five this evening.

so it has been pretty much chaos here

I love my grand daughters very much but nothing and I do mean nothing gets done when I have the girls.
